The official journal of the Korean Society of Marine Life Science (KSMLS)
Journal of Marine Life Science (JMLS) publishes original and internationally significant contributions from all areas of marine life science. While original research articles are the backbone of Marine Biology, method articles, reviews and comments are also welcome, provided that they meet the same originality, importance and quality criteria as research articles.
The Journal’s scope encompasses basic and applied research from all oceans and marine habitats and on all marine organisms, the main criterion for acceptance being quality.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.
